Businesses all know who their target market is. It helps them define and measure their goals accordingly. Knowing who you are posting for on social media will help you create content that resonates with the end user.
Are you targeting couples looking to get married? Or are you targeting advertising agencies that hire photographers for their ad campaigns?

 

Social Media Content Strategy

Your social media content strategy involves breaking down what type of content you will be posting on social media.

The different types of content you can post on your social media networks are:

  1. Curated Content (Other peoples content)
  2. Your blog posts
  3. Your images
  4. Your latest business news and offerings

Don’t shy away from posting other people’s work by retweeting or sharing their posts. It won’t kill you we promise :-).

How many times a day or week will you post on Facebook or Twitter and other social media networks? Defining your social media posting frequency rate is important in creating a social media calendar.

Trial and error is the best way to figure out at what frequency you should post on social media. Remember start small and work your way up from there.
